Comments: I am trying to find some history of the small town of Ojo Sarco. Does anyone know where I can find this info, I have searched everywhere but with no luck.

Comments: Ojo Sarco was settled during the 1800's mostly by people from the Embudo area. They migrated up the canyon from Canoncito. Some of the Trampas people moved to Ojo Sarco. This information can be gleaned from checking church baptism and marriage records from the San Antonio de Penasco church. Films and books of extractions can be found at the archives in Santa Fe.

Comments: Have you ever heard of Al Hurrcane, the godfatrof New Mexico music. His family came from Ojo Sarco.
