The Office of the State Historian needs your help to realize the fullness of the New Mexico Digital History Project. We encourage the submission of well researched and well written essays that add to the site’s interpretive mission: To foster an understanding and appreciation of New Mexico’s history and culture.
The goal of the New Mexico Digital History Project is to create a virtual engagement with New Mexico’s living history, inviting visitors to navigate through themes that explore the wisdom of place, the significance of events, the complexity of the human condition and scope of New Mexican biographical experience as well as the transformative power of storytelling.
