Before an essay is submitted, please consult with State Historian or Assistant State Historian regarding the topic and subject of your essay. This must be approved before a full submission is made.
All essays must include a cover page with the submission title, author’s name, mailing address, email address, daytime and evening telephone number.
Entries should be submitted electronically in a Microsoft Word document on cd to The Office of the State Historian. For more information about essays contact:
